Every state has its own unusual, seemingly wacky laws—and New Jersey is no exception. Perhaps you’ve seen some of these bizarre New Jersey laws before. While I certainly object to the stereotype that New Jersey is a dump, I will concede that this state has had a major problem with illegal dumping, which is the illegal, improper disposal of waste. Oftentimes, people will improperly dispose of their waste in order to avoid the inconvenience and expense of proper waste disposal. To combat this growing problem, New Jersey has enacted stringent legislation to deter illegal dumpers.
New Jersey School Officials Take Action to Protect Undocumented Students from Immigration Enforcement
On Monday, March 26, 2018, Hackensack, New Jersey school board officials unanimously approved the Access to Education, Student Privacy and Immigration Enforcement policy.[1] The regulations under this policy will help protect undocumented public school students and their families in two ways:
